Sport forms an integral part of the WA College of Agriculture Narrogin program and facilities are adequate to cover most needs. Students are encouraged to participate in a wide variety of sports and many represent the school in local and interschool competitions.
Interschool and inter-house competitions operate in a variety of sports. Parents are notified in advance of these competitions and are most welcome to attend to watch their son or daughter in action.
Some of the planned events
WA College of Agriculture’s Autumn Carnival – an inter-agricultural college carnival.
Country High Schools Championships (Countryweek) – in Perth in July with teams in most winter sports and the possibility of a speech team.
- Narrogin town sporting teams including hockey, mixed netball, indoor soccer, football, netball and basketball.
WA College of Agriculture Narrogin's recreational facilities for students to use after school hours and on weekends, include basketball and tennis courts, football and sporting ovals and cricket practice wickets as outside activities.
The Dining Room provides leisure facilities such as a big screen, pool tables, table tennis, T.V’s, videos and a hi-fi system.
The staff will arrange and operate other activities depending on student interest.
Weekend fishing and camping trips also occur under the guidance of staff. Major study trips to the Eastern States are undertaken on alternate years.
